"We have been with Lance since 2013 and StateFarm for 34 years. So we have a lot of water under the bridge with StateFarm. We had a covered loss recently that went south from the start. The electronic claims would not take the claim because it was on a business so I had to call. When they completed the claim they filed it under my homeowners. But that is ok because Lance and team straightened it out. StateFarm sent out their own contractor from Houston who came out and said the roof had to be replaced the electricity system had been struck so we had no electricity and the solar panels were not working. He told me he would prepare an estimate. I never heard from him and funny thing, neither did the State Farm adjuster or so he said. The adjuster came out and finalized the claim and totally ignored the electrical problem and my other estimates from roofers. When I pointed out that he did not include money for the electrical issues, he said, “you filed a wind claim, the wind did not damage your electrical system, are you now claiming an electircal strike? He agreed to send out StrikeCheck, three weeks later no response and no estimate from StrikeCheck. So we called Lance and team and sure enough he found the estimate and yep the adjuster had it but claimed he didn’t. And the adjuster marked it rejected and customer was taking care of it and would provide an estimate. I told Lance that was a bold face lie. Then, I got a call from Heike Ness. Remember that name Heike Ness cause she worked miracles. From being jerked around, demeaned, ridiculed, and talked down to by adjusters in person and on the phone, she listened and worked miracles. It took her about 3 days to get to the bottom of the electrical estimate and in one interaction she got me the estimate and the promise of a check. You might wonder, with all the wonderful technology StateFarm has and online claims why not just go there and find them, cause they deactivated my access to the claim and I cannot see anything there. Dealing with StateFarm adjusters was impossible but if you are lucky and get the right insurance agent and team (Heike) is amazing. If you are reading this and suffering through State Farm incompetence, Ask for Heike. If you have a different agent, you may be outta luck."
